Supreme Court Justices
Just as note President Bush said Judge Alito is the kind of Judge of Judge Americans want. He is not the kind of Judge that I want.
I don't believe we should filibuster Judge Alito's final vote. However, as Americans we have to understand that this country is being driven to a hard right. Not more conservative but to a hard right.
Mrs. Miers would have been a conservative justice, she would have been a fine jurist with an open mind. Alito will lean the court far right, more so than Justice Roberts who I supported. He demonstrated that he alone decides his cases, not party lines.

You are right, however one must draw conclusions based on past performances.
