Care

Progress can only be accomplished through steady change, and without your voice, your will and your desires being heard there will be no change. I have said this over and over and I am going to say it again, care, care who your President is, he will impact your life, care who your Governor is he has a big impact on your life as any politican can.

Treated Equally

Regardless of who you are or where you are going in life you should have the same rights as your neighbors. If you are distracted by a man in a dress, grow up, there is more to life then these petty differences.

Exit Exams

Why should we not have exit exams upon graduating anything? I understand that economic disadvantaged schools stand to score less, however our diplomas must mean something.

How does one know the education of an ndividual without an accurate, up-to-date and challenging test of thier wits, knowledge, and reasoning skills.

Reinvest

President Bush wants the oil companies to reinvest their profits. They have done just that, they have sent out a large thank you to their former CEO.

They are OIL Companies, what are they going to invest in, oil.

We need real answers, not simple politics, we need real solutions no partisian banter.

$100.00 Rebate

I have been very busy lately, but when I heard this I had to blog it. The Senate wants to give some Americans a $100.00 rebate. That will last me two weeks in gas, then what?

How about, we cut the tax breaks to the oil companies, and strengthen our anti-gouging policies.

I heard a gas station owner on TV talking about how he wasn't making .20 a gallon. In the past they have always made .3-.5 a gallon, what changed? Gas stations don't make their money on gas, they make it on convience items.

We also need to hone in on the big oil companies, and we need to take a serious look at how the markets work.

This blog is not abandoned

This blog is not abandoned. I have been so busy with school and work I have not had the time to write in here.

To anyone who doubted Judge Roberts, please read his disent he just wrote on searches. While I understand the idea that one person can not surrender the constitional rights of another, I must say I agree with Judge Roberts. Here is my scenario, what happens if the police are called out on a domestic disturbance call and the female tells the officers that her husband threatened her with a knife. Now, with the new ruling the usband can say, no I didn't. The officers then ask for permission to search the residence and the husband says no, all evidence is lost and the case is droped.

The Court should have made a ruling in effect upholding all "related evidence" that would have solved the problems.

Don Knotts

There are two great joys in life, making someone laugh, and leading someone to help theirself. Don Knotts knew how to make us all laugh. When someone passes on I always wonder,

Will the be missed?
Will Someone ever replace them?
Did they make an impact?

Don did all of that and more, thank you Don for giving us all so many wonderful years laughs. May God Bless you and keep you safe.
